Making a New Junk Journal ~ Part 2 ~ Starting on the Collage Master Board

In this video, I start work on the collage master board. First I chose pretty papers I found on Ali Express (I'll link to them below) as well as some other background papers: lined notebook paper, dictionary page, vintage music and the patterned end paper from the vintage encyclopedia.  Feel free to enjoy the video here on my blog but I would love it if you'd hop over to YouTube to like, comment or subscribe to my channel. Thanks for joining me in the studio ~  Enjoy!

Cracking out my brand new Gelli Plate! In the studio, making a mess ~

I got a new gel plate! I had been borrowing a friend's plate but she wanted it back (the nerve... 😉) so I had to lay down some bucks and buy my own. It's so much fun unpacking new craft supplies!

So, I unpacked it and got to work using the same colors I used for the intuitive mark-making for my latest in-progress art book. The results turned out so pretty! I'm going to use one or two of these to make a cover for the book - now to decide which one?!

Here are some beauty shots of the finished pulls followed by a process video (if you're interested!)

Enjoy!
